Here’s What’s On Tap

Today’s HODL My Beer is a little shorter because, well, kids.

But that doesn’t mean the content is any less awesome. Maybe.

Take a look at the four altcoins that will eventually follow the rest of the market - but haven’t yet.

And make sure to take a look at the Cluster Dates and Gann Stuff’s at the end for important dates and price levels to watch in the future.

Technically Speaking - February 13, 2024

The instruments and charts I’m looking at today have little to no bullish Ichimoku conditions because nearly all of them remain in overwhelmingly bearish conditions.

However, bears have been unable or unwilling to capitalize on those conditions. From a risk perspective, the following cryptos are risky with a capital R. So, Risky.

But, because they are lagging the rest of the market so dramatically and they’re not responding to the bearish conditions, they might be primed for some upcoming pamp of their own.

Zcash

This dumpster fire of a crypto is one of the worst performing ‘major’ cryptocurrencies. Combined with ZEC being part of the privacy coin class of crypto, it’s no wonder that its performance has been, well, shit.

But when Zcash does catch buyers, it has historically gone apeshit.

DASH

Like Zcash, DASH falls into the privacy category and is a consistent underperformer compared to the broader market. It is performing ‘better’ than Zcash, but that’s like saying out of two survivors in a car crash, DASH only has two broken arms, two broken legs, and a ruptured spleen, while Zcash was severed in two.

0x

ZRX has an interesting history. When Coinbase only listed BTC, ETH, BCH, and LTC, ZRX was one of the first altcoins to meet their strict criteria for getting listed on their platform.

You can read all the details on 0x’s success on your own, but given the strong fundamentals of this crypto and the insanely overdone price action, it’s one that I’m just going to let park and bark until it pops.

Kava

According to GitHub, KAVA is one of the most active networks in crypto - yet its price action sucks major donkey dick. Artificially suppressed? Crypto social and fan boyz think so. Regardless, it’s active, and the price action is totally borked compared to the fundamentals - if that kind of thing matters to you.

Cluster Dates

Derived from NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory data and analyzed through the lens of Gann Analysis, the ensuing date intervals warrant close observation, particularly when a market or specific instrument exhibits strong directional momentum. In such instances, there's a substantial likelihood of witnessing a sharp reversal in trend around these pivotal dates.

In other words: put these in your calendar in ALL CAPS and write something like PAY THE F*CK ATTENTION KK THNX.

Gann Stuffs

The following dates and prices come from Gann’s Square of 9. The Square of 9 was one of Gann’s tools that he used to identify when and at what price levels major changes in an instrument could occur.

Pay special attention if Bitcoin trades at any of the price levels on/near any of those dates, especially if they share the same degree.

For example, if Bitcoin is trading near 52,441 on March 30, 2024 (both are 180-degree levels), watch for major moves to occur.
